Change Your Computer's Default Window Registry Editor Command Line

Welcome to the second part of my article titled 'How to speed up Windows 10' where I am going to explain how to regedit. This is the process by which a registry key or file is edited and then managed on the computer system. The word 'registry' is derived from the software registry editor which is present on all Microsoft Windows operating systems. Making use of this editor enables one to make changes to entries in the registry for faster execution of software applications.

On the desktop, you will find a search bar on the right side of your desktop screen. This search bar can be used when you want to directly look for any information about the windows registry. You just need to type 'regedit' in the search bar and a window will appear with a list of options. Select the option'manage tab' and click on the radio button 'enable network settings'.

You will see a tree with many levels of folders, below this you will find a 'search' button and below that you will see a radio button for enabling or disabling networking in windows. The top level of the window is dedicated to the regedit window where you will find several buttons. The first button is for creating a new key or file and the bottom button is for searching the registry editor.

A regedit window looks similar to the Explorer window where you can click on the folder and click on the properties to view the contents of the key or file. But this time instead of the folder there are links to click on and you have the ability to make changes in the file. You will find several files and folders under the "RegEdit" bin. Open the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft" folder if you have it and you will see a folder called "Software". Open this folder if you want to access the registry editor.

Type in the Windows registry key you want to edit into the text box, just like you would in Explorer. Then click OK to save your changes. You are now able to perform a simple regedit command with the Start menu. This will open the editor and when you select the appropriate function from the drop down menu you will be able to view the contents of the registry. mã code fshare can use the search feature to look for the key you want and search for the word that you need.

The regular search bar will return more matching entries than the big search bar. If you have any changes you would like to apply, just right click on the entry and select the properties. Look for the line that says " Sectors: Size: 4". This tells the regedit program to look for a specific size value of a section and replace it with the current size.
